I used to think I had to perform to be loved. Now I know that true love does not require performance. God’s love is not based on what I do but rather who He is and who I am….
A testimony of joy
God our Defender
I am not called to prove myself. Who I am, who we are, has already been proven on the cross. In this season of life this year, God has asked me to lay down my fear of what people think of me. I’ve learnt, “If you’re in the wrong, own it and repent to those you’ve hurt and to God for stepping outside of who you are”. But if you know your heart was in a pure place and you’ve done all you can, there’s no need to defend yourself. Don’t try to prove your heart motives. God is our Defender.
